TITLES

oh ok i can make titles!

where was i? ah yes i had just mentioned my 103 in algebra. after that i came home, did a speedy shopping trip at target, and then i was off to work at Ulta.
ahhh ULTA....what wonderful experiences i always have...
i'll tell yall about one of those wonderful experiences right here and now...

one fine day as i was happily finishing checking out a customer, a pleasantly plump lady with long dark hair approached me. The expression on her face and the way she threw down her item told me that she might be a little bit upset about something. Now, if youre anything like me, thoughts might soon run through your head like 'Maybe her grandma just died' or 'Perhaps she just found out that there are starving children in Africa.' HOwever, I soon realized that thoughts such as these were far from her mind. In the conversation below i will refer to her as "Lady".

Lady: I CANNOT BELIEVE YALL DONT HAVE THIS HAIR ACCESSORY IN A BROWN COLOR! CAUSE IVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND YALL DONT HAVE THEM!

me:...umm yea all we have is whats on the shelf

L: (HUFFFFFFFF) UGH! JUST GIVE ME THE NUMBER TO ANOTHER ULTA THEN, THIS IS JUST REDICULOUS! CAN YOU CALL ANOTHER ULTA FOR ME TO SEE IF THEY HAVE THEM?!!

me: (i look at the long line of customers, who are now getting angry that they are having to wait, and calmly say)...I can give you the number and you can call or i can call my manager over real quick and have her call for you but it will be a minute.

L: (SIIIGGGHHHHHHHH) FINE! WHATEVER! WRITE DOWN THE CLOSEST STORE NUMBER!

me: ok...theres alot of ultas in the metroplex do you want the number to the one in Dallas? (i start writing down the dallas number)

L: HUFFFFFFFFF (SHE PUTS HER HAND UP AS IF TO SAY "TALK TO THE HAND" AND STORMS OUT OF THE STORE)

that honestly made me really upset because i dont understand why she was so rude to ME. its not like i ordered specifically all non-brown hair accessories to make her mad.

so that was just one example of an exciting time i've had at my job and there will be many more to come in the following blogs.

i think i've gotten carried away....
